"I see myself and my job to be a form of communication...
My imagery is designed to communicate a feeling.. a product.. a design.. an atmosphere even.
whether its for the advertising of a building a vehicle, or perhaps a series of products or portraiture, the bottom line is that you want the image to look as good as possible
this is the same philosophy no mater how big an organisation or individual is"...

Below is just 2 questions from an old interview, that in brief tells you about DB

How is your work different from all the photographers out there?

"With education in graphic design, fine art and photography, I have to love visual design, concepts and visual understanding is ART. A compilation of the work I have produced seen in my galleries from both commercial and personal interests show a healthy combination of the two. This encourages innovation and originality.
This also helps to show customers a varied amount of what an image can do. And even make them think of possibilities they would not have thought of beforehand"...

Is being able to create such advanced image manipulation rare as a photographer?

"Perhaps in the commercial sector, people can be quite surprised that I take the photograph and provide a finished edited image, when they have usual had to outsource this afterwards. But I always want to see the finished article and it would seem weird giving a picture to someone else to edit, when I know what the customer wants.
I enjoy both taking the photograph and creating something with it. that's the key as well... Enjoying what you do"...
